BTS’ oldest member Kim SeokJin recently kicked off his much-anticipated first solo tour, RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, after dropping his second solo album, Echo. To cheer him on, fellow bandmates V, J-Hope, and RM made their way to the stadium. Videos from the night show the three of them vibing to the music, singing along, and even breaking into dance moves. But what really had the internet buzzing was V’s new look. Ditching his usual soft-boy vibe, the singer stunned everyone by flaunting a buffed-up look in a black tank top.

Just moments before making his way to the Goyang Auxiliary Stadium on July 28, V, aka Kim Taehyung, was snapped by several fans. In the photos, V looked just as stunned to spot the cameras as fans were to see him. In one picture, he even stuck out his tongue after hearing everyone scream his name. He showed up in a sleeveless black tank top (something he’s never worn on camera before), loose track pants, and a grey beanie. V hit the top trends in no time, and fans couldn’t stop raving about his completely switched-up energy since his military return. Some even joked that he is taking fashion lessons from Jungkook. “Is it me, or has he really changed?” one fan asked. “Never seen a glow-up hit this hard,” another replied.

In one video, RM, V, and J-Hope were seen dancing with lightsticks as Jin started singing “Super Tuna” on stage. The “Epiphany” crooner performed a mix of his own solo tracks and even surprised fans by doing BTS classics like “Butter” and “Dynamite”. The sold-out stadium left many fans disappointed, saying it should have been bigger, as they couldn’t even get tickets due to limited availability. Meanwhile, HYBE has announced a special live viewing option for Jin’s upcoming Osaka tour, scheduled for July 12. The concert will be live-streamed in theatres across 10 Asian countries, including India, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Hong Kong. This marks Jin’s first official tour post his military return last year. Before hitting the Goyang Auxiliary Stadium, Jin took to Weverse to request fans not to drop spoilers after attending the pre-performance rehearsal session: “ARMYs, see you tomorrow. Rehearsal is over. For those who watched the rehearsal from far away, no spoilers.”
