Now, her sister-in-law Shrima Rai has recreated one of Aishwarya Rai’s most talked-about looks and the internet is buzzing.
On Monday, Shrima posted a video that she called the final episode of Cannes looks recreated series. She recreated her sister-in-law Aishwarya Rai’s glamourous Gaurav Gupta look from Cannes Film Festival in May. Earlier, she recreated Alia Bhatt’s Cannes look.
Taking to her captions, Shrima Rai revealed the products used by the Bollywood actress for her look. Apart from giving a makeup tutorial to recreate the look, she also styled her hair in glamourous waves to match the Bollywood diva’s look.
Shrima received a lot of appreciation from fans for her latest video. An Instagram user wrote, “You look stunning it would be pleasure to see you two together.” Another user wrote, “Wow! It was better than Aishwarya’s make-up artist.”
Shrima Rai shared the video months after addressing trolls who accused her of leveraging Aishwarya Rai’s name to boost her career. Meanwhile, Reddit users speculated that she shares a strained relationship with the actress, noting her absence in photos with Aishwarya or her daughter.
However, she clarified in the comments section of a post, “Before becoming a blogger, I worked in wealth management for years. I have also been Mrs India Globe 2009. I have never used anyone’s name to build my career. As a woman, I take pride in my independent achievements and won’t allow anyone to undermine that.”

Shrima Rai is a former banker, and now works as a beauty influencer. She is married to Aishwarya’s brother, Aditya Rai.
In a conversation with Mohsinaa Ahmad on her YouTube channel, Shrima had shared, “I didn’t want that to be my calling card and it’s one thing to have the support of whoever you are related to, that’s something else. But if you are doing it on your own and you own that, it’s very unfair for someone to take that away from you without having an interview. So when I saw the wrong things written about me, I did put out a clarification.”
