It seems that 2025 is turning out to be one of the best years in the lives of actor couple Viineet Kumar Siingh and Ruchira Singh. After Viineet commenced 2025 by making remarkable appearances in a couple of films, some of which opened to massive acclaim, and delivered a streaming series recently, the power couple are back on cloud nine as they welcomed their first baby. Two months after revealing that Ruchira was pregnant, the two actors took to social media on Sunday to announce the arrival of their little one.
Revealing that they had a baby boy on Thursday, Viineet and Ruchira shared in a joint post on Instagram, “God’s kindness overflows! Move over, world, the littlest Singh has arrived, and he’s already stealing hearts and milk bottles. Thank you, God, for this precious little bundle of joy!” Soon after they shared the news, the couple’s colleagues and fans thronged the comments section to congratulate and shower them with love.
“Bahut bahut badhai bhai sahab ♥️🧿,” actor Vikrant Massey wrote, while Avinash Tiwary commented, “Congratulations bhai 🤗❤️”. Actor Aahana Kumra also couldn’t contain her excitement and noted, “Such good News you two!!! 😍😍😍 Can’t wait to meet the little one!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸.” Renowned thespians Manoj Bajpayee, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kunal Kapoor and Faisal Malik, as well as director Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah, also extended their best wishes to the happy couple.
It was in May this year that Viineet and Ruchira announced on social media that they were expecting their first child. Opening up to Hindustan Times about the experience, he said: “This phase is incredibly special for both of us. We’re overjoyed and can’t wait to welcome our baby. Everything feels new, and I want to be present for every moment.”

On maintaining work-life balance, he said: “I try my best to take care of Ruchira. I wrap up work as quickly as I can and rush home. I’ve figured out my schedule, so I can accompany her for doctor’s visits. I’m planning to take paternity leave once the baby arrives in July.”

Soon after his Match Fixing premiered, the epic historical actioner Chhaava also hit the screens, where his performance as Kavi Kalash gained significant attention. It currently ranks as the highest-grossing Indian film of 2025. Viineet also played a key role in Superboys of Malegaon, which opened to global acclaim. Besides portraying a key role in Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda’s Jaat, he also appeared in the Prime Video series Rangeen, sharing the screen with Rajshri Deshpande.
