The latest episode of Netflix show The Great Indian Kapil Show featured popular YouTube personalities and journalists such as Sandesh Bhatia, Kamya Jani, Saurabh Dwivedi, and Raj Shamani. During the episode, Kapil Sharma discussed his guests’ unique approach to interviewing celebrities and politicians. While speaking with The Lallantop’s Saurabh Dwivedi, Kapil revealed that Aamir Khan had declined an invitation to appear on the show during the promotion of his recent film Sitaare Zameen Par.
Kapil joked with the journo and said, “You did an episode with Aamir Khan that was five and a half hours long. I am yet to watch it. I’ll watch it during my summer vacations. Inhone interview nahi liya, he wrung him dry. Aapko nahi laga kurta aur chappal hi bachi thi, vo bhi le lete hain?”
“Aamir is such an interesting personality. He always has so much to share. And that holds true for anyone who has struggled in life and worked across different fields. Mere ustaad ji, meri patni, she always says that if only you care to listen, everybody has a story to share,” Saurabh replied.
Kapil Sharma revealed that Aamir Khan turned down his offer to come on The Great Indian Kapil Show and shared, “I called Aamir Bhai to invite him here for Sitaare Zameen Par. He said, ‘Nahi, maine saara hi unko de aaya hu, unse le liya karo aage se.’” The comedian also mentioned that Saurabh Dwivedi always makes sure to ask a single question and look in the eyes of the guest till he gets his answer.
The upcoming episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show will feature politician Raghav Chadha and his wife, actor Parineeti Chopra.
