Ahaan Panday recently made his debut with Mohit Suri’s Saiyaaraalongside Aneet Padda and by all measures, they have made quite a noise. But, before he made it to the silver screen, Ahaan would actively post on social media and appear on his sister Alanna Panday’s YouTube channel. During one of these videos, Ahaan opened up about his childhood and shared that his sister Alanna, and cousins Ananya Panday and Rysa Panday once injured him quite badly. Ananya, who is also a film actor, is the daughter of yesteryear actor Chunky Panday. Ananya and Ahaan grew up in the same house.
Ahaan recalled this memory when he was asked about his “fondest memory” with Ananya and he shared, “Fondest memory of Ananya is when she hit me with the door. I was bleeding, I was rushed to the hospital.” As Alanna expressed her shock and wondered if she was the one who inflicted the injury, Ahaan said that Ananya, Alanna and Rysa were all responsible for this.
“It was all three of you. Basically, Alanna came running into my room and she was like, ‘Ahaan, you have to come right now. We are doing these magic tricks’. I said, ‘Oh really’ and I went running. I used to be very naive and I reached and apparently it was funny to bang the door on my head… Yeah, that’s what happened,” he shared.
He shared another anecdote about his sister Alanna and said that she would “bang” his head against the car. While Ahaan shared all of this, Alanna kept laughing and denying all his stories. In another part of the video, Ahaan spoke about his first tattoo and said that he got the birth year of his sister Alanna.
Saiyaara, which also marks the debut of Aneeta Padda, has made Rs 132 crore at the box office in the first five days. The film’s collections aren’t slowing and it seems like the film might reach Rs 200 crore as it finishes its second weekend at the theatres.
