Besides being a renowned filmmaker and choreographer in Bollywood, Farah Khan is also emerging as one of the most beloved content creators on social media with her cooking vlogs featuring celebrities. Thanks largely to her adorable bond with her longtime cook Dilip — with their funny banter being the highlight of the vlogs — Farah’s videos have been receiving a lot of love and praise from viewers.
Recently, Farah and Dilip paid a visit to Sarfira actor Radhikka Madan’s house, where they shot an episode of the show. Meanwhile, Radhikka also gave Farah a tour of her house, during which the filmmaker stumbled upon one of Radhikka’s most cherished possessions: a handwritten note from Amitabh Bachchan that she has since gotten framed and displayed prominently in her house. She revealed that Big B sent her the letter after watching her performance in director Homi Adajania’s Angrezi Medium (2020), wherein she shared the screen with legendary actor Irrfan Khan. It was his final film to be released before his death.
Meanwhile, with a playful pout, Farah complained, “Amitabh sir, you have never written to me. Please, koi toh letter bhej do (send me one too)!” Now, in an incident that underscores the saying “be careful what you wish for; you just might get it”, a special note has arrived for Farah Khan. And it’s from none other than the Shahenshah of Bollywood!
Making her dream come true, Amitabh Bachchan has sent a handwritten letter to the director-choreographer, in which he wrote, “Dearest Farah, there are moments when exceptional talents in various diverse mediums goes beyond any appreciation. Appreciation, as a word describing your enormous creative contributions, falls short by miles. May you continue your outspoken verbosity in the years ahead. My love, affection and regard, Amitabh Bachchan.” He wrote the note at 3.13 am on July 28.
In a video she posted on Instagram, Farah unveiled the letter she got from Amitabh Bachchan. “Thank youuuuu @amitabhbachchan sirrrrrr uv made my year!! So sporting, so gracious and such good English to boot 😂 lovvv u Amitji ❤️🙏🏼,” she wrote in the description box. As usual, this video also ended with a fun banter between Farah and Dilip, during which the latter asked her to request Big B to send him a letter as well. Farah wrapped up the video by teasing Dilip, saying, “First ask your wife to send you a letter”.
