Alix Earle and Alex Cooper have long been rumoured to be feuding after what started as a promising partnership between the two internet stars fell apart. Fans have since been convinced that things aren’t as smooth as they seem, and now, Earle might’ve just confirmed that with her recent comments and social media activity. Alex Earle subtly shades Alex Cooper

Alix Earle recently dropped a cryptic TikTok that fanned the flames. In the short clip, she referred to her astrology app and said, “My Co–Star told me that I can start sh–t today, it told me.” Giving a thumbs up to the app, she added, “I mean, is this the moment I’ve been waiting for? I have so much information. We could go.” Even though she hesitated a bit before following the app’s revenge cue, she still threw shade. When someone in the comments asked, “What happened with Alex Cooper?” Alix asked, “How much time do you have?”

The tension goes back to earlier this year, when plans to launch Hot Mess,  where Earle wanted to give a “weekly recap of her life revealing all the in-depth, exclusive details that have everyone watching, talking, and wanting more” were scrapped by Cooper’s media network. Cooper, known for Call Her Daddy, had signed Earle as her first big name when she launched the Unwell Network in August 2023. At the time, the duo were nearly inseparable, attending events together, posting each other on socials, and promoting their gigs side by side. But by early 2024, fans noticed everything had suddenly vanished. Earle even skipped Unwell’s Super Bowl party, despite being in New Orleans. Then came the news: Hot Mess was no longer part of Unwell.

At the time, multiple sources told Us Weekly that the two “clashed over business.” One insider said the drama and tension had been brewing for a while and that it ended their friendship for good. Another source revealed that Earle’s dad, TJ, who also acts as her manager, wasn’t happy with how Unwell was handling her career. According to the insider, “Alix is working on bigger projects not related to the podcast space. Alix’s dad got more involved in her business decisions and did not like what Unwell was doing. He ultimately thought it ended up not being a smart business move.”

She later quietly pulled back from Hot Mess for a bit, but has since changed her focus to vlogs and YouTube content. She’s still doing brand deals and seems to be keeping things moving with or without Cooper.
