Hulk Hogan’s estranged daughter Brooke has finally broken her silence on her bond with the wrestling icon, days after his death from cardiac arrest following a long battle with illness. Opening up on Instagram, she wrote, “My dad’s blood runs through my veins,” addressing years of reports that the two weren’t on speaking terms. Meanwhile, as per TMZ, Brooke won’t be getting a cent from Hogan’s estate. Here’s everything that’s unfolded since Hogan’s death.

Brooke Hogan opts out of Hulk Hogan’s will

According to reports, Brooke asked the lawyers to remove her from Hulk’s will entirely. She allegedly listed her reason as “lack of trust” in people around her dad. “She didn’t trust anyone around him and didn’t want to get dragged into a mess over money when the time came,” a source told TMZ. Those close to her say Brooke always felt people were taking advantage of him, and she got tired of clashing over it. So, to shut it down for good, she reached out to his financial advisor and had her name taken off. While neither Brooke nor Hulk ever spoke about their falling out publicly, things went cold after the wrestling legend married Sky Daily following his split from Linda. Brooke’s heartbroken that he didn’t fully trust her, but she’s made it clear that she was never in it for the money. That said, she’ll still receive a small sum from a life insurance trust, which she plans to put toward her kids’ education.

Brooke Hogan breaks silence on Hulk Hogan’s death

On July 29, five days after Hulk’s passing, Brooke paid a heartfelt tribute to her dad on Instagram, describing a bond that went far beyond the public eye. “His eyes shine through my children. And our bond has never broken, not even in his final moments,” she wrote. The 37-year-old described their connection as sacred and spiritual, something that survived the worst. “We had a connection deeper than words, one that spanned lifetimes. I am so grateful that I knew the real version of him. Not just the one the world viewed through a carefully curated lens,” she wrote.

“When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us,” she added. “He used to remind me, ‘All of this is temporary and I’ll always find my way back to you.’ I truly believe that we will find each other in every lifetime.” Brooke revealed that one of her newborn twins was named Molly Gene, after her dad. “His hugs were my home. Wrapping my arms around him always made me feel like his little girl — even as I grew up.” Calling the death his biggest championship, she concluded, “I know he’s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have.”

Before signing off, Brooke also took a moment to address the family rift, she insisted there was no public blow-up. “My father and I never ‘fought.’ It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know or understand,” she said. Brooke said they had respectful disagreements in the final years, often about Hulk’s health and the people in his circle. She stood by him through almost 25 surgeries, but said Hulk later no longer wanted her to get involved, deciding to handle his health privately. “Everything started getting covered in a thick veil,” Brooke wrote. “It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through.” She also spoke about feeling his presence leave this world the same moment he passed, before anyone had even told her. “For a few special years, I had that,  with memories that will last a lifetime. My world is forever changed. But I’m deeply blessed with a loving husband and two beautiful children who remind me every day of life’s greatest gifts.”

In 2023, Brooke made headlines when she skipped Hulk’s wedding to yoga teacher Sky Daily. At the time, she posted a message explaining why: “For my own healing, I have chosen to create distance between myself and my family… and focus on people and things that align with my values.” Later sources said, Hulk didn’t attend her daughter’s wedding with former NHL player Steven Oleksy either.
