The trailer of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film Kingdom has finally been released by the makers. The trailer was launched at an event in Tirupati, after which Deverakonda and the makers shared it on their social media handles. The video has already gone viral on the internet and fans are excited for the film.
Deverakonda dropped the trailer on his Instagram handle. He wrote in the caption, “We built #Kingdom with fire in our hearts. A @gowtam19 action drama with an @anirudhofficial score. Today, I give you the trailer. Let it hit you like it hit me.”

In the video, Vijay Deverakonda is introduced as Surya, a spy caught in a high-stakes mission. Tasked with infiltrating enemy territory, he must leave behind everything he loves. However, as he navigates this dangerous world, events take an unexpected turn, leading him to form an unlikely alliance. The trailer promises intense action sequences and emotional moments, set to Anirudh Ravichander’s evocative background score.
Talking about Kingdom in an interview with Filmfare, Deverakonda had said, “Kingdom is a thick layered action drama. It is an action drama like the old days, where you get into the emotions behind everything… not just chasing the spectacle. It is a form of cinema that I love watching and so it is a cinema that I am happy to have made. Kingdom is a film where I first okayed the director before a script. I knew I wanted to work with Gowtam Tinnanuri, he is a terrific storyteller and has a great eye for the way he tells it. His and my paths were meant to cross. And then we have a terrific team behind it. Almost everyone on the team is a National Award winner. So imagine a bunch of National Award winners coming together to make an action drama.”
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya, under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, Kingdom is set to hit theatres on July 31. The film also stars Satyadev, Bhagyashri Borse, Manish Chaudhari, Venkitesh and Baburaj in important roles.
