Shock and despair filled people’s minds after Shefali Jariwala, the “Kaanta Laga” girl, passed away on June 27. Ever since Shefali’s passing, her husband, Parag Tyagi, has been posting her pictures with heartwarming captions that express both his sorrow and love. He again took to social media and wrote to his followers that he will continue posting pictures with his wife, as he wished to keep her memory alive in this manner.
Parag commented on social media about people who expect him to drop this practice soon and announced that his thought process behind this is very different and he wishes to keep doing this as long as he can. “For those who are trying to garner attention by saying I won’t post for a long time. Sab log aapki tarah nahi hote (Not everyone is like you guys). Pari (Shefali) loved to be on social media and enjoyed the love poured to her. I have never been a social media person, and now she is in my heart, and I will make sure that she is being loved by everyone, and she will be on social media even though she is not around.”
Parag Tyagi called out the ‘negative’ people on social media and made it clear that nothing they could say or do could convince him to stop the posts. “I don’t care about the judgement you negative people have. I don’t care about you, but I do care about all the people who still love her. I am going to cherish all her memories with you,” added Parag. He has already shared several videos and pictures of Shefali Jariwala after her death, including one where he has written a long caption, describing his love for her. He even posted a video of him gardening along with their dog and mentioned how much Shefali loved nature.
Shefali Jariwala and Parag Tyagi were introduced to each other by mutual friends. They ended up marrying in 2014, after Parag had proposed to her two years prior.
