Actor Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha recently appeared on The Great Indian Kapil Show, where they shared light-hearted anecdotes from their personal life. Raghav revealed that just 2–3 days after their wedding, Parineeti had already taken on household responsibilities. She also addressed media speculation about her joining politics.

When host Kapil Sharma jokingly asked Parineeti if someone offered her a party ticket at her wedding, the actor responded: “The media keeps telling me to join politics now. They don’t know that I even had to google about being a Member of Parliament. They think I will join politics, but I don’t think so.” She added, “Our wedding was quite fun because people from two different worlds came together, and our guests loved interacting with each other.”
Parineeti Chopra also recalled how she was taken by surprise when she was asked to make halwa. “I didn’t even know how to make a toast. I had to google how to make Halwa, and later I took help from my mother-in-law. I thought it would be a romantic moment to serve Raghav this halwa in the evening. He came, had it, and I was waiting for feedback.”
Later, Raghav said that he had figured his mother had made the halwa, and he complimented her. He added, “Nakal main bhi akal chahiye, thoda sa toh badal dete.” Raghav also shared, “Two-three days after our wedding, when I returned from office, I was looking for Pari and my mom. I couldn’t find them, but after some time, I saw they were together in the kitchen, reorganizing everything. She reorganized the entire kitchen.” Parineeti chimed in, “Main ne Bombay ki laaj rakh li.”
Raghav Chadha’s mother was also present during the shoot of The Great Indian Kapil Show, where she shared that soon after the wedding, many friends and relatives would visit their home just to click photos with Parineeti Chopra. Interestingly, a few weeks ago, reports claimed that Raghav and Parineeti had to leave the shoot midway after his mother was rushed to the hospital due to a sudden illness.
