Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran‘s wife, producer Supriya Menon, has been a victim of online trolls and harassment since 2018. She broke her silence on Tuesday by tagging the woman who created multiple accounts on Instagram to target her. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Supriya shared a photo of the woman targeting her. She also penned a note which read: “Meet Christinaeldo. She has been passing nasty comments on most accounts which post something about me. She would constantly make fake accounts and post and I continued to block her.”
She added, “I found out who she is years ago but let it be as she has a young son. But even that filter she has on is not enough to hide the ugliness she holds inside and spews at me since 2018.” She even targeted Surpriya’s late father. This is what ultimately prompted Supriya to expose her.
The alleged harasser’s account is private with 10 posts and 77 followers. According to Times of India, Christin is a nurse and a resident of Chattanooga in America.

Supriya Menon was a business journalist before being assigned to cover Malayalam cinema. Unaware of the new beat, Supriya sought the help of her friend, who handed her the number of Prithviraj Sukumaran, claiming he might be a help to her. And this changed their lives forever. In 2011, Supriya tied the knot with Prithviraj and quit journalism to become a producer in Malayalam film industry.
However, despite producing several successful Malayalam films, including Prithviraj’s latest L2: Empuraan, Supriya still struggles to find her individuality as she is addressed as Prithviraj Sukumar’s wife.
In an interview with Film Companion South, she shared, “I achieved my professional position without anyone’s recommendation. It was a job and career I earned on my own. But now, as a producer, there are many privileges. Everyone now knows me as the wife of Prithviraj, the actor who carved his own path and moved forward. But even in this, I have my struggles. Because I am now trying to make people understand that I am Supriya.”

She added, “People should see me as a separate individual. I constantly try to make people understand that they shouldn’t confuse me with Prithviraj. I don’t want to be known as ‘his wife’, ‘his mother’, ‘his daughter’. I am preparing to create my own name. The reason I have confidence is my father. My parents didn’t raise me in a cage. They gave me the courage to create my own wings and fly.”
