Ram Kapoor recently grabbed headlines after revealing in an interview that he has amassed enough wealth to sustain at least four generations of his family. But what’s truly winning hearts is how his children, especially his daughter Sia Kapoor, are setting out to create their own path — one marked by academic brilliance and determination.
In filmmaker Farah Khan’s latest vlog, Ram proudly shared that Sia scored an impressive 97% in her ICSE board exams and is now heading to Columbia University after spending time at New York University. Ram, with his usual wit, said, “I got 47%. How could she be my daughter?” Reacting in her trademark humorous style, Farah exclaimed, “Tune kya khaake isko paida kiya hai (What did you eat before having her)?”

While Sia and her brother Aks keep a low profile and stay away from the limelight, their stories occasionally make headlines. Sia had earlier made news when her mother, actor Gautami Kapoor, revealed that she lost 38 kgs — a transformation that ultimately inspired Ram to begin his own fitness journey.

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Gautami said, “What really pushed Ram was Sia. She began her weight loss journey before he did, and it truly motivated him. He saw what was possible through her determination.”

Farah Khan’s vlog also offered a glimpse into Ram Kapoor’s stylish and quirky South Bombay home, where he hosted Farah for a house tour. The spacious apartment features a large, tastefully done living room, a dedicated meeting space, an elegant dining area, and a vibrant in-house bar with round green high chairs. But the real showstopper was found in an unexpected corner — the bathroom.

Farah was left speechless when she noticed a bold, red lips-shaped sofa in the washroom. “What is this?!” she asked, trying to make sense of it. Ram laughed and explained, “I saw this in the Maldives and wanted to recreate it. That’s Mick Jagger’s lips, Farah.” Farah’s reaction after that left Ram and Gautami in splits.
