Ranbir Kapoor is one of the biggest actors in the Hindi film industry. Despite his star status, many have spoken about Ranbir’s humility. Recently, actor Ishtiyak Khan, who featured in Ranbir’s critically acclaimed film Tamasha in the song “Wat Wat Wat,” recalled an instance of Ranbir’s humbleness and how the actor selflessly helped him get ready with the correct look for the song.
Speaking about the incident on the YouTube channel Digital Commentary, Ishtiyak said, “My younger brother Faiz was training Ranbir Kapoor. So, Ranbir got to know I am Faiz’s elder brother. He came to meet me and appreciated my brother and he scanned my look and he said that it is not right. He told Imtiaz Ali that his makeup artist and hair stylist will do my hair and makeup for the song. So, he only got my whole look done.”
Recently, Vivek Oberoi also lauded Ranbir Kapoor’s humility. He recalled meeting Ranbir at the Animal success bash and said, “I was standing with my dad and suddenly he comes and says ‘sir’ and gives me a big hug. It’s his party, people are celebrating him. He is not waiting for people to come to him. He just came gave me a hug. I love it. He is so secure. He knows his talent and he is so humble. Zameen pe baith jata hai woh. He does not care what people think. He is just working.”
Ranbir Kapoor was struggling to deliver a box office hit before 2023. His films like Shamshera and Brahmastra were major disappointments at the box office. However, in 2023, he starred in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, which turned out to be a massive hit, minting over Rs 900 crore at the box office.
The actor now has two highly anticipated films in his lineup — Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War.
