2025 has not seen many films work at the box office. Many surprising films emerged to be commercially successful this year. And the latest wonder at the box office is turning out to be Mohit Suri-directed Saiyaara. The film has earned critical acclaim and is now garnering praise from the audience as well as the industry. Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda are also being celebrated by many from the industry for their debut film. On Monday, actor Ranveer Singh also took to social media to applaud Mohit Suri’s latest film, Saiyaara.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Ranveer Singh wrote, “Saiyaara is heartfelt, the very best of Mohit Suri. Congrats to my dear friends at YRF – Akshay, Sumana, and Shanoo for an unprecedented feat. Ahaan and Aneet, you were special. A scintillating debut! God bless you and welcome to the movies.” Earlier, Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Arjun Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Mahesh Babu, Rasha Thadani, and Anurag Basu also lauded the team of Saiyaara.

Maddock Films also shared an appreciation note for Saiyaara on social media. Your passion, storytelling, and cinematic magic have truly struck a chord with the audience. Here’s to raising the bar for Hindi Cinema again!”
At the box office, Saiyaara has had a great start. It earned more than Rs 20 crores on its first day, and in three days, the film has already earned more than Rs 83 crores. While many have been appreciating the film, a section on the internet has also pointed out similarities between the plot of Saiyaara and a 2004 Korean film, A Moment To Remember.
Saiyaara had its theatrical release on 18th July. The film is produced by Akshaye Widhwani of Yash Raj Films. As for Ranveer Singh, the actor will be next seen in Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar. The film is slated to release on 5th December 2025.
