Archana Puran Singh took her vlogging set and crew onto the set of the Kapil Sharma’s The Great Indian Kapil Show and shared what went down behind the scenes during the episode featuring cricketers Rishabh Pant, Yuzvendra Chahal, Abhishek Sharma, and Gautam Gambhir. The cricketers excitedly met with Navjot Singh Sidhu and the rest of the crew. Archana asked each and every one of them personally about what’s going on in their lives and also welcomed the newcomer, Abhishek Sharma, on the show.
The vlog opens with Archana complaining about a sore throat and wondering how she is going to laugh on camera tonight. She then meets with Kapil before going on the set and compliments him on his attire, “Where did you get this suit? It looks amazing; the black and white is looking very good.” Both then rush on to the set as Kapil states that he has to be somewhere after this. Sidhu makes his entry as the cricketers all flock around him, and he talks about Abhishek and says, “I am so proud of him, because he is the future of Indian cricket.” Archana even called Abhishek a “very handsome boy,” and that he made it to the show because both the cricketer and Kapil are from Amritsar.
Archana then talks to the guys and asks Rishabh about his accident; the Indian wicket-keeper responded that the incident gave him a new perspective on life and taught him a lot. He informs Archana that he too has started a YouTube channel, and Archana then proceeds to give him a shout-out on her channel. While talking about his own YouTube channel, Rishabh appears to be putting a ring on Chahal’s finger, and Archana asks him, “Are you now engaged to him?” To which Rishabh replies, “Iski toh ho chuki hai pehle.” Yuzi clarifies that the engagement is now over, referencing his divorce from Dhanashree Verma.
The Chahal hazing did not stop there, however; Archana invited Chahal to her home in Madh Island but quickly added that he is too busy to come to Mumbai and meet her. Without skipping a beat, Rishabh says, “He is here all the time.” Chahal quickly responds, “Sabko bata de tu (Why don’t you tell everyone?)” And following his teammates advice, Rishabh starts yelling the same on the set. The whole joke was clearly hinting at Chahal’s rumoured relationship with RJ Mahvash, who happens to live in Mumbai.
