Actor Shefali Jariwala Death Live Updates: The ‘Kaanta Laga’ girl, Shefali Jariwala, is no more. The actor and model, who became one of the most loved icons of the 2000s with her charismatic presence and dancing skills, died at the age of 42 on Friday in Mumbai.
According to initial reports, the actor was rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital at midnight by her husband, Parag Tyagi, and three others after suffering a cardiac arrest. She was later declared dead by the doctors. Paparazzi captured her husabnd Parag Tyagi leaving the hospital, visibly heartbroken.

Although Shefali Jariwala didn’t continue to have a big Bollywood career after “Kaanta Laga”, she appeared in several music albums and even films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Hudugaru. The actor also made her name on the small screen, appearing on several reality series, including two seasons of Nach Baliye, Boogie Woogie, and even Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 13, where she emerged as one of the fan-favourite contestants.
Shefali Jariwala, who stepped into showbiz at the age of 20, was known for her fun and vibrant personality. The actor was married to musician Harmeet Singh from Meet Brothers in 2004, but their marriage fell apart, and they divorced in 2009. She then got hitched to actor Parag Tyagi in 2015. Parag rose to fame with Pavitra Rishta. He later worked in shows like Brahmarakshas, Jodha Akbar, and Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki.
