Tom Cruise and girlfriend Ana de Armas’s relationship is going strong, and the couple were recently seen at an Oasis concert at London’s Wembley Stadium. While it isn’t unusual for celebrity couples to attend concerts together, Cruise enjoying an Oasis concert came as a surprise to fans — especially since the actor was mocked years ago by the band’s members, Liam and Noel Gallagher, over his height and acting skills.
Music producer and DJ Goldie, who also attended the concert, shared videos from the event in which Tom and Ana can be seen clapping their hands and grooving to the beats. His Instagram post also shows Tom smiling with him for a selfie. Take a look:
Back in 2007, Liam and Noel ridiculed Tom Cruise in their documentary Lord Don’t Slow Me Down. They called him names like “f–king midget” and “b——d.” Noel can be heard saying in the documentary, “He’s (Tom Cruise) a little f–ker, and he’s not been in one good film his entire career.” Liam added, “I f–king hate Tom Cruise.”
It is also reported that Tom Cruise, in 2009, confronted Liam in Berlin while he was doing a press tour for his film. “For the first time in his life, Liam was lost for words. Tom did a double-take as they passed each other and went back to say hello,” the British outlet Daily Star had reported.
Meanwhile, Ana de Armas is facing backlash for liking a nasty Instagram post that mocks Tom Cruise’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman’s appearance. The post was shared by Instagram handle @/celebmess, which mocked Nicole Kidman for claiming to not have gone under the knife and being “proud” of being “completely natural.” The post shared Nicole’s old interview along with a meme that sarcastically said, “Sure, Jan.”
A fan commented on the post, “Why did Ana de Armas like this?” while another said, “Tom Cruise is NK’s ex-husband, but from 20 years ago. So it is nuts she cares.” Another comment read, “That’s kind of nasty actually.”
Tom Cruise, 63, and Ana de Armas, 37, haven’t made their relationship official, but they are often spotted spending time together. The rumours of their romance first began in February this year.
