With exactly two weeks to the film’s release, the makers of War 2 have dropped the film’s first song track — “Aavan Jaavan” — featuring actors Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. This marks their first collaboration together and Kiara’s first movie after welcoming her daughter with her husband and actor Sidharth Malhotra. War 2’s “Aavan Jaavan” song holds a special place for the actress as it coincides with her 34th birthday. Aavan Jaavan created a lot of buzz around it as it reunites the Kesariya team (song from Brahmastra) director Ayan Mukerji, music composer Pritam, singer Arijit Singh and lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, which became a chartbuster song in 2023.

Love is in the air for Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in the song Aavan Javan. The song showcases their child-like chemistry with each other, dancing on the streets of Italy, making wishes, and driving through the greenary. And as any trademark YRF film, a mandatory bikini scene. Kiara’s swimsuit scene was highlighted in the film’s trailer too.
The song has prompted several responses from their fans with many praising Arijit Singh’s voice. A user wrote, “Arijit Singh truly has one of the GREATEST voices on this planet! Beautiful!” Another user worte, “I never want Arijit’s era to end. He is the one who makes me feel like I am in a relationship even when I am single.” Others had praises for he new pair on screen, Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani.

Previously, teasing the song release, Ayan Mukerji shared, “Aavan Jaavan – was the soundtrack for our Italian shoot, and creating it was one of the most joy-filled experiences and memories of making War 2 for all of us!”

War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji is the sixth installment in Aditya Chopra’s YRF Spy Universe. Written by Shridhar Raghavan, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Jr NTR, and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. Actors Anil Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana will be seen in special roles with the latter reprising her role from the 2019 film which also starred actors Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in the lead role.
War 2 is all set to hit the theatres worldwide on August 14.
